Owner Operator’s

Ø  Trucks must be 10 years or newer or lease a truck here!

Ø  Rate of pay .90 a mile loaded or empty plus FSC

Ø  Fuel surcharge changes weekly on Tuesday based on national average

Ø  Fuel card provided we fuel at Pilot’s and at a discounted rate

Ø  Truck maintenance program available at $65 a hour

Ø  Parts at company costs

Ø  Base Plate is $40 per week

Ø  Insurance Expense (truck liability, Bobtail Insurance, Physical Damage, Occupational Accident) $65.00 per week

Ø  IFTA and Permits provided  fuel taxes deducted from Settlements

Ø  Average miles the drivers are getting are 2500 +

Ø  Direct deposit available (weekly settlements)

Ø  Layover pay

Ø  Stop off pay

Ø  Health Insurance available

Ø  AFLAC available

Ø  Rider policy

Ø  Qualcomm satellite  (GPS moving map available at $10 a month)

Ø  Dry van freight 48 and 53 foot trailers using Equity trailers

Ø  Areas we cover as far west as TX, CO and NM. And then towards the east coast and south.

Ø  Trip advance allowed

Ø  Transflo for paperwork

Ø  Trucks must weigh less than 18500

Ø  Escrow account $100 a week for 20 weeks

Ø  Cargo insurance you are responsible for first $2000 per claim

Basic Driver Qualifications to become a Michigan Owner Operator

1. Must be at least 23 years of age.
2. Must have a minimum of two (2) years verifiable, over the road, multi-state experience.
3. No major preventable accident in the past three years (a major accident is defined as a DOT recordable accident).
4. No serious traffic violation, as defined by Section 383.5 including any speeding ticket of 14 mph over posted limit, reckless driving, OR a citation as a direct result of an accident with fatality in the past three (3) years.
5. In the past three (3) years, no more than:
   1. 3 Traffic Violations AND zero (0) preventable minor preventable collisions,
   2. 2 Traffic Violations AND one (1) preventable minor preventable collision,
   3. 1 Traffic Violation AND two (2) preventable minor preventable collisions,
   4. 0 Traffic Violations AND three (3) preventable minor preventable collisions.
6. No more than 4 jobs in past two (2) years without significant work experience with one (1) company.
7. Must have a valid Class A CDL with a Hazardous Materials endorsement, issued by the state of residence No more than one (1) moving violation with a lane change [applicant changing lanes] or a rear-end [applicant rear-ended other vehicle] collision in the past three (3) years.
8. No DUI, DWI, or drug related convictions ever.
9. No felony convictions ever.
10. Must be able to pass a U.S. Department of Transportation physical examination as required by Section 391.41 and successfully complete a pre-employment substance abuse test as required by Section 382.301.
11. Must complete the company orientation class.
12. Must not be addicted to, use, sell, deal or transport controlled substances of any kind.
